Employee of the Month: Belinda Young
Weatherspoon Security is proud to recognize Belinda Young, an Unarmed Security Guard, as our Employee of the Month.
Belinda will celebrate three years with the Weatherspoon Security team this October. In that time, she has built a reputation for steady, dependable service and for genuinely caring about the people she’s there to protect. When asked what she likes most about the job, Belinda’s answer was simple and direct: making sure the residents she protects are kept safe. That focus on people, not just protocol, is exactly the kind of guardian mindset we look for in our team.
Long shifts require a clear head, and Belinda has a straightforward tip for staying sharp and professional: stretch your legs and take a walk outside for a few minutes. It’s a small habit, but one that keeps her alert, focused, and ready for whatever the shift brings.
Outside of work, Belinda keeps her life centered on faith and family. Sunday mornings are for church, and evenings after a shift are spent visiting with family and unwinding in front of Wheel of Fortune. When it comes to comfort food, she doesn’t hold back: fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread top her list of favorite meals. And if she needs a little extra motivation, her go-to pump-up song is “Goodness of God” by CeCe Winans.
Please join us in congratulating Belinda Young on being named Weatherspoon Security’s Employee of the Month. Her dedication to the residents she serves, and her steady presence on every shift, reflect exactly what it means to be a Weatherspoon Community Guardian.
