CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person was found dead in west on Tuesday morning, police said.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified the victim as 24-year-old Julian Cypruss Spencer.

CMPD responded to a call on Belmeade Drive, near the intersection with Mount Holly Road, around 10:15 a.m. Spencer was found in a remote area along a gravel road near railroad tracks and power lines.
